What is that in panel three? Human bacon? I drew it. I don't even know, but it grosses me out.

I think she missed her calling. You know, Napoleon Hill didn't know the difference between a commitment, a motive, and an emotion... One of the great salesmen of all time Napoleon was. Second only to Paul of Tarsus. And of course the list of master salesmen wouldn't be complete without James W. Pickens, the third.

Sociopath or psychopath, that is the question.

See that's the thing. I still don't know the difference between the two. Any time it crops up in a comic or television show I scratch my head because I put Sociopaths and Psychopaths into the same mental category. I think the sociopath is the one that can hide in plain sight and the psychopath is the more violent of the two. I also have trouble distinguishing between fascism and sadism. I think the only difference is the degree but in which direction and what sublimated form requires me to look it up in a textbook or dictionary.

I'd say Hack Girl is a sociopath, as the definition of the word is "a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience."

Alternatively, the definition for psychopath is "a person suffering from chronic mental disorder with abnormal or violent social behavior."

With what we've seen up to this point in the comic, HG is of the former rather than the latter.

At times like this I always want to quote David Mitchell:

Crazy people don’t do this sort of thing as much as you think! It’s a lot more unhappiness and self-harm and a lot less thinking that you’re Napoleon.

...or in this case killing people.
