…bodies. It’s bodies. Bodies are the other thing that she hacks.

@GabrielsThoughts: The violence in Hack Girl is meant to be over the top. In reality, he would have bled out very quickly. And the story is just starting. I'm excited for you guys to learn about Hack Girl as I know her (:

@I Am Awsome: Oh my gosh that would be so cool! If you do, be sure to take pictures, I'd love to see it! :D

Body parts
Body parts everywhere

I must admit I am impressed. She didn't even need to heat up the tools she uses in order to cauterize the wounds. No doubt because of "happy tree friends" cartoon physics.

If this were to take place in reality she would have to have the speed of superman to pull that all off before his heart stopped pumping blood or he went into a disassociated state. Which is not really something a true sociopath would care aout.

Realistically, if Hack was a true sociopath, she wouldn't really have any motive for revenge. Other than retributive justice of the status quo. Granted, the motive demonstrated here is revenge for torturing and murdering a child.

Supporting the status quo is usually very successful. However, It's dangerous, synonymous with supporting GOP values, not to mention the concept of proportional retaliation has been noted to leave everyone blind.

While I'm sure Hack Girl is pro choice, I think you need to establish more of a background for the character to justify the violence. You know, like Johnny the homicidal maniac did. . . does. Feel free to throw some new age philosophy into the story while your at it.

EDIT: please note the views and opinions held by me personally are subject to change as time goes on. These comments were meant to stimulate a discussion and tease the artist. I apologize if any offense is taken literally. Hopefully anything said was not read in a way that could be misconstrued as mean spirited or cyber bullying.

Aw man, this is like Christmas came early for me.

Speaking of which... something tells me Nick becomes Hack Boy if that Holiday extra is something to go by.

This is where I remind myself that the opinions of characters (or readers) don't necessarily represent opinions of writers... :[

@Oly-RRR: Hey again! Glad to see you returning and thanks again for all the feedback. Hope you're not too freaked out by all the gritty bits of the comic. I've mentioned it before, but I just want to emphasize the moral ambiguity of this comic. Major themes of human complexity are dealt with gradually and throughout the series so it may not be apparent at first. I promise that I do not endorse Hack Girl's actions haha

@Guest: Not too freaked out and definitely sticking around for now! Also I'm really glad you replied before because without your comments I think I'd be more suspicious of the overall tone, considering the way nearly everyone else in comments seems to see it (I've been online long enough to not be surprised by incredibly cynical comments but it's still sad). So yeah, thanks for getting back to me!
